On the coach today. Stopped in a place called Fishponds. First up, Adam Henson's Rare Breed Pale Ale from Butcombe. On cask at 3.8% in The Van Dyck Forum (Wetherspoons). Nice & refreshing. Very well kept & served. Stock English Pale. Pleasant & easy drinking. Mainly floral hop flavour.
Here's my advice after that Win. Don't start believing. But, don't stop starting to believe. It's early days.
They managed to get Tel Kennedy into the back four. By shifting Basham into midfield. Kennedy & Basham & Murphy were great. I was really impressed with Coutts in midfield. He's big & strong & looks the part.
Murphy took his goal superbly. In collecting the ball, putting his run together, wrongfooting defenders & slotting it home, he was spot on in every phase. Superb goal.
And here's the thing that pricked my ears up. The other goals weren't simple first strike put ins. They were BUNDLED in. Difficult to see who got the final touch.
Read that again. We had multiple bodies in the Box. If the first fella don't put it away cleanly, the next fella will. Sweep it in. Hit it. Stick the Rebound in. We haven't seen much of that in the first bit of the season.
Matt Done was on the end. Deserved it.
