Notts County 1 v Sheffield United 2

On the coach again. Some nonsense about "must park over at Nottingham Forest ground". That's unmanned & in total darkness with just one other coach lined up.
Anyway. I've struck out for The Stratford Haven, 2 Stratford Road, West Bridgford. I know the place by sight. Walked past it many a time on trips to Trent Bridge Cricket. Never been in.
Another Castle Rock place. Part of the Thornbridge style city domination takeover of Nottingham. Good beers mind.
I counted 11 casks. Few guests & their own. Difficult to knock that. A lot in. Not detectable as a football crowd. Maybe a few odds n sods waifs n strays like me. Bright, clean, welcoming. Quieter, mature crowd. Only one Baseball Cap. Lose that son.
I went for Castle Rock Kohatupus on cask at 4.6%. Lovely and clear. Head died quickly. Hop taste is very floral. But, it does give a nice gentle bitterness.
An odd game that. Glad to come out of it with a win. Early on, with Murphy running the right back ragged, United were dominant. But at times they were sloppy & simply weren't dealing with things. Notably for the Notts County goal.
As I've "requested", he managed to get Kennedy & Reed in. Kennedy is immense isn't he. Run through a wall to get the header in, and clumsy with it. A rare breed who I think is a great prospect & it makes me giggle watching him play. One thing that Maguire had was the ability to bring the ball out at his feet, sometimes at pace. We've missed that. Tel partly fits the bill. And with Bradford as well. Maybe that'll come back into our game.
I thought Reed did well. But he was subbed & other people tell me he was struggling.
Another Done bundle in. Again, that is encouraging. Shows we're getting men in the six yard box & balls across.
Good game plan for 70 minutes, with added sloppiness. Then a rash of substitutions. You go there. You take him. Who is on the big lad? Boot it out. Wait for it to come back.
Not my bag that bit. You're doing something well, don't complicate it for Fresh Legs.
90/200
