Whisper it. I had a can of Heineken yesterday on the flight from Doha to Heathrow. Ghastly.

Today, early afternoon, we hit the Camden Town Brewery Bar. I've not been for a long time. It's still great as a Beer Destination. Methinks just on the cusp. Lots of give us money, fund our expansion posters. One fella even had the tape measure out. Literally, measuring around us for what looked like it was a reshaping/refurbishment of the bar area. Tick Tick Tick, maybe not long left for "the likes of me".

All round good beer set up. All the bottles & tins. Barrel Aged IHL bottles. All the kegs. Special kegs. Guests. Lovely lot to go at.

I had...

India Hells Lager at 6.2%
Unfiltered Pale at 4%
Ska Brewing - Rudie at 4.5%
Ska Brewing - Modus Hoperandi at 6.8%
Black Friday at 5.2%
Camden vs Petrus, Belgian Stout at 6%

Odd. I sort of enjoyed them all. But I was sort of disappointed in nearly all of them. Few stood up to what I was expecting. But, I sort of enjoyed them all.

And. Incoming. The Ska Brewing Modus Hoperandi was the standout beer of the day. Looked the part. Full of flavour. Rich.

A bit easier for England than I expected. Very difficult to get excited about the qualifying for the 24 team EUROs. Plod along. You'll qualify. The UEFA TV deal is Quantity over Quality.

But, you have to beat what is in front of you. Lovely cameo performance & early goal from Harry Kane. Large crowd. Only a few Lithuanian fellas. Someone in the FA marketing has played a blinder.
