Very poor that. There is still a bit of cricket to be played. But, poor.

The game drifts. South Africa clearly didn't want to give England a full four sessions at anything. So, they don't really need runs. We can't take the wickets. Time must be taken up.

I thought England did OK. With the Ball. They kept the run rate in check. Without being spectacularly negative. When it got to de Villiers time, the target was ridiculous rather than impossible.

But, three down in 21 Overs at the close. Poor.

At least I had a great time in the morning. Felt like a teenager again. De Villiers bagged another two ball Duck. Which was his third Duck in a row.

He's been in the Papers a bit. His workload needs to be managed. Sat on your arse after 3 Ducks is gonna help. The lure of IPL Rupees. And, he'd had a pop at Anderson in the Papers. So, The Cricket Gods had him lbw bowled Anderson.

Don't know why. But, I let him have it. He also did an Ego DRS Review. The Fool. Meat. Drink. Plumb. In the Coup de Grace, I suggested he “go and count his money”. Titter. I'm not proud of myself. But I bloody enjoyed that.

Nice beer to round the evening off. Darling Brew, Thunder Bird, IPA from a bottle at 6.5%.
