Back in the saddle. A great way of keeping your head down on buy players no better than what we've already got day.

Hudders are running away with Professional Development League 2 North. Unbeaten in 16 before today. 15 of those were wins. United are nestled in behind them. And that win means they are unbeaten in seven.

So, by the tale of the tape, that's a great result for our U21s. Superb game. Both teams bang at it. Chances all over the place. United in particular will be disappointed not to have scored more. But, Huddersfield had their moments an’ all.

Part of me wants them to decide what sort of player Che Adams is. For long periods, he played up top with Jake Wright. But, he ends up with his back to goal a lot. When surely he's best used haring for goal with the ball at his feet.

But, fair play, at this level, at times, he can turn or give and go. So he does get in on goal. He's created and/or sniffed out a fair few clear cut chances. He looked more effective before Jake Wright limped off.

Fairly competent from everybody else. Always looked like a mistake coming from McGahey & Kennedy. But, at this level, they're capable enough to make ‘em & clear ‘em up.

Shea Gordon started at right back. He swapped into midfield with Ben Whiteman in the second half. In general, we looked awful defending corners. But the West Yorkshire TeaCakes couldn't cash in.

Loads and loads of blocked shots, scrambles & just wides. It weren't pretty. But, it were football.

Pint of Abbeydale Brewery, Paint It Bax on cask at 5.5%. Infused with black pepper. Pepper used as in a dry hopping style. Messed around with beer is what it is. But, salute. It all works. Nothing too overpowering. Everything grows rather than grips. Great sweetness upfront. Apricot. The pepper comes. But more rocket leaf. And, for me, sweetness floods again in the finish. Great beer.
