Dry Day

Well. Yorkshire certainly played a young, inexperienced side. Wainman, Waite & Coad were all out there. As was Carver. Ignorance on my part. And lack of scorecard/scoreboard. Means I am not really sure of the strength of the Leicestershire team.

They've not exactly won it at a canter. But, they've won it standing up. Who knows? Only one six in Yorkshire’s innings has left me wondering whether they'd got enough. And 135 doesn't sound many. Yorkshire scored 159 & 176 in the Emirates main event T20 last year.

Ballance the pick of the batsmen with 38. None of the bowlers really stood out. White Ball Captain Alex Lees opened the bowling with Wainman. Having helped Wainman set his field, Lees then trots off to push the sightscreen into position.

At one point, a car drives in front of the Pavilion. Parking momentarily in front of the Yorkshire Benches. Welcome To Dubai.

Hoping for better in the Main Event
