400 Australian Beer Ticks

Oh do come on. One of these teams has to grasp it. Soon. I don't mind saying. With A U S 76 for 4, I was buzzing. Sweating a bit in the heat, mind. But, buzzing. Warner had already gone. Stifled a bit. Then got a Right Royal Send Off from Jake Ball. All's fair, in War.

As I write. I'm in two minds. I felt it got away from England a bit. But, a look at the figures suggests England were able to put the strangle on. And Root went for the five man Yorkshire Wall Funky Field at one point. Just. At 76 for 4. I felt England might burst through. This current skirmish will boil down to whether they can do better from 163-4, than we did. (That was the score when Root was out). We went from 246 for those same four wickets to 250 for seven. Ballsed it up basically.

Anyway. Both teams resolutely stay in the game. Fair do.

Great beer. Tan in the glass. Wait for this. Got a whiff of the WARD’S about it. The malt is drying in the mouth. And that just off bitter taste kicks in. Very rich. Just sweet enough. Very rich again. Everything balanced against the rest. Very, very good beer.

I'll admit to being a bit disappointed at first. But, definitely a grower. Later on, I'm getting Ribena in the smell. Bundles. And, it's glorious. It does feel nicely hop forward. The bitterness is fairly gentle. But, it won't go. Great lingering still bang at it finish.
