Another boring day of relentless individual record & milestone chasing by NZ. Don't they realise it's a team game & there's a Test to be won. First we had the unedifying sight of Williamson pursuing his own Ton on day two. Despite the fact England would need to bat four fucking times to pass the Kiwi score.

Then. He inexplicably failed to declare overnight. Well actually, it was plicable. He just wanted his bessie mate Henry Nicholls to pursue his own individual goal of a fifty. The whole dead day lasted 17 balls.

Indeed, I'm kicking myself. I should have took the piss and gone for a new New Zealand Beer Tick for each ball bowled. Only managed eight.

Urbanaut Brewing Williamsburg IPA at 7.2%
Urbanaut Brewing La Almeda Citrus Sour Lager at 4.7%
Urbanaut Brewing Le Marais Champagne Pilsner at 5.6%
Urbanaut Brewing Gastown Red IPA at 5.8%
Weezledog Easy Weezy NZ Session IPA at 4.5%
Behemoth Murica, American Pale at 6%
Baylands The Directa, European Lager at 4.7%
Mcleods Brewery 802 #8 Fresh Unfiltered IPA at 6.6%

Urbanaut Brewing Co. is v close to Morningside Station. And, is therefore a short walk to the Eden Park turnstiles. And, is therefore the second “Brewery Tap” (after Garage Project) within a short walk of the turnstiles. Although, Garage Project do not actually brew on their Kingsland premises. Urbanaut emphatically do. It's a very large space. Again, it's a tasting tray only bar. “No Pints”.

One of the owners, Simon, came to say Hello. He explained that his business partner used to brew at Fuller's. And, was production manager at Meantime.

Flight 605 Bar is virtually next door to Urbanaut. A welcoming, straightforward keg, can & bottle bar. With a clear emphasis on NZ Craft Beers.

The Williamson Baiting Evening was topped off at Brothers City Works venue. There is a small brewing kit in there. Following my patter, the barman brought me two mad, not yet ready, tasters from the Fermentation Vessels.

On a day of personal milestones, that Urbanaut, Williamsburg IPA can have Beer Of The Day. A great IPA. Rich bitterness from the get go. Bold. The finish coats every bit of your mouth. Belter.
