Very much an unwanted Double Header. I walked through the North Gate at Lord's well before Lunch. Having already seen Yorkshire rolled over at The Oval. 142 for 5 off 57. Becomes 168 all out off just 66.1. Abysmal. Wheels off. Where do I go for a refund?

There was actually a nice game shaping up at Lord's. At the start of Day 4, Gloucestershire were still 179 behind, following on, with two hutched. A rearguard action, in a neutral game (for me), maybe going right to ten past six, or thereabouts. But, even that fizzled out. The Middle Saxons never looked like taking wickets. Two all “day”. Before we had the joke bowling fandango until a handshake was possible.

Luckily, I'd had some headspinners. Sourced from Ghost Whale in Brixton.

CRAK Brewery & Magic Rock Collab, Crying Adult from a tin at 9% (Nine) (The Oval)
Powerful beer. Marmalade. The bitterness is spot on. Just rich enough to not be too rich. A Sipper, not a Slurper. Fills every pore.

Verdant Brewing Co, Maybe One More PSI from a tin at 8%. (Lord's)
Spot on. A bit gloopy to keep Instagram happy, but a lovely hoppy stew. These abvs though? Tongue tingling bitterness from the get go.
