New Zealand had a spell. That 241 for 4 overnight. Begat 295 for 8. Staring down maybe not making 300. Stokes comes down the pitch & gets a big nick. Pope swipes at a ludicrous wide 'un. Curran goes next ball. Et and indeed Cetera.

England had a spell. Buttler shepherding Leach to a 52 partnership. Including a few over the top, gone downtown shots. 353 feels underpowered. Both in general. And from where we were overnight. But, could've been worse.

In the NZ Dig, Raval has slapped Leach into the air & Denley has grabbed it (72-2). Ross Taylor has flipped Stokes to Pope (106-3). And then. Kane Williamson has grubbed one through the slips to bring up his fifty. And THEN. Curran has got one to lift. Cramped Williamson up. Gloved it. It's Big Boys Cricket at 127 for 4. Tomorrow is easy for both teams. Get A Lead. Honestly, I'm liking the look of England's position.

And now. It's time to introduce a New Blog Feature.

Chair Of The Day

How's it working Phil? Are you in Corporate Hospitality for this one?. No Mate. We are Grass Embankment. But. There are Rules. You can sit on your arse. On the grass. Blanket or Tarpaulin or Similar. Or you can use what you & me would call a Folding Camping Chair. But, those are only allowed at the top of the Embankment. There's actually a painted white line that full on folding chairs must be behind. This is simply to make sure you don't whack a chair in front of someone arse sitting & block their view. But. You are allowed a much smaller chair further down the bank. One which I can only describe as Arse Near Ground. A Low Loader. These are readily available in Camping & Hardware & Etcetera shops.

But. One DON has decided to go his own way. He's got a "normal patio chair". And a set square & spirit level to perfectly fashion, using a hacksaw, his own Low Loader. See if you can spot it.

That, my Son, is Chair Of The Day. (I don't want feedback on this new feature, thanks all the same).

The Beer to Toast that Sam Curran Snorter was;

Funk Estate, Oh Lordy Pale Ale from a Tin at 5.5%.

Nice malty backbone. The floral Hops come in fairly big off that. Very biscuity all the way through. Zingy & refreshing.
