Sighs. Thirty Three wickets gone in two days. Not a single ball of spin so far. Not even "just to see". Welcome to September. Keep your hotel bookings flexible. Never, I mean never, Pre-Pay. 

Low scoring games can bring tight, exciting finishes. But, I find games like these frustrating. We. Want. Cricket. Don't get me wrong. It's not hooping about. It's not got rearing bounce. With the odd shooter. It's just difficult to get set & bat on. You can look the Stats up yourselves. Toss of a coin who can win this. Toss was half an hour before the start.

Day one, we hit;

They're still doing table service as they iron out their staffing issues. We were fine. But, a friend had some issues later on & had to leave without being served.

Just delightful that one. Got it all going on for 3.8%. Peach sugar. Into orange. And then seamlessly into a lovely bitter finish.

Kirkstall Brewery, Break Even, New England Pale on Cask at 4.6%

Previously a Collab with Verdant. But now cut loose and going it alone. Banging. Some pineapple. Nice n hazy but not over juiced.

Day two was a Monday. Upon which Arcadia doesn't open until 3pm. Fucking September cricket man. So;

Wishbone, EeZee, Pale Ale on Cask at 3.8%

Gweilo Beer (Hong Kong), Hazy As DIPA, on Keg at 8.5%

Flipping heck. Capital S for Serious. Loads of pepper. Full on. Whisper it. But needs lowering a notch.

So, all told, the beers count for a Big Fat Win.
