Hallam were well beaten in the end. Atherton scored in the first ten. And looked early doors that they might run away with it then. The Hallam keeper looked in trouble at times. Rushing around & caught off his line. But at other times was making magnificent point blank saves. As Atherton piled it on.

Somewhat against the run of play, Hallam equalised after 35. Either a clever header which wrong footed the keeper. Or a powerful miscue. Depending on your mindset.

But, Atherton have basically run away with it in the second half. Hallam's day summed up by the Penalty for the fourth. Diggles, the Hallam keeper, saved the pen. And then what seemed like half a dozen follow ups. (But was probably only one). Before it was eventually bundled home.
