Endeavour Tap Rooms, The Rocks
Does what it says. It's a Tap Room for Endeavour Brewing. It's right there. Tourist Central. The Rocks. Nice place. Very helpful (English) barman. He let me taste. He let me ask geeky questions about the Hops. He recommended. I know them best for their bottled stuff. But, here the main event was/is nine of their own on keg.
On his recommendation, I went Endeavour, Australian IPA on keg at 6.4%. Sometimes it's just words isn't it. But, they had that one bang on. Tropical. Citrus. Rich bitter. Well balanced. Nothing ripping your gullet out. An IPA. No doubt. Great use of Southern Hops. No doubt.
Great little A League adventure. Lots of slagging off in general. But, I still like the A League. Open. Honest. Refs let it play. Nice fan environment & experience. Although. Again. Aussies will tell you it is over controlled & policed. I've been around a few blocks. It ain't.
It's rough & tumble. It's seat of pants. It's alright. Some shocking defending. Not dealing with it. No marking. All leads to The Alamo at the end. Six minutes injury time. And two each. Fucking glad to be at a game lasting 96 minutes rather than five days if I'm honest.
