Season over. Rejoice. Ten days close season. Next up (fingers crossed), Sheffield United Under 23 XI away at North Ferriby Legacy FC on Friday 5 July.

No news. We were out after the last game. We've conceded nine goals across three games. Alright, we've scored six. But, nine goals is always going to hurt you. And. I'm saying, not a single one of those players has upped their reputation. For some of the other nations, players have stood out & made you look up. Maybe only Phil Foden.

I've visited Birrificio Artigianale Sammarinese on a previous trip. But, games thick n fast & logistics meant I couldn't reach Birrificio Abusivo, another, newer, San Marino microbrewery this time around. Well. I reached it. But only as an it's closed walk past. And, I reached some of their bottles. I'll claim them as TWO San Marino Beer Ticks. Oh, and if you're familiar with San Marino. Them ticks were up the hill. At eye watering number of Euro € per bottle.

Birrificio Abusivo, Colpo Secco Belgian Ale from a bottle at 6.2%. From what I think is their "experimental series". Nice beer. Felt only "vaguely Belgian" - but nicely balanced.

Birrificio Abusivo, Kinka Ti Gins, Hefeweizen from a bottle at 5.3%. Got a lot going on. Some banana. But, also some too sweet peach (ish). Packs a punch & gets there in the end.

But, on countback. The Outstanding Beer Of The Trip shout out is;

Birrificio Menaresta, Mi Fai Session on keg at 4.4%. That was in the superb Mosaic Beer-House in Cesena. Hops everywhere. In the smell, in the first mouthful. In the finish. Does what it needs to do. Floral & Effervescent. Top drawer.
