Northern Counties East Football League
Division One

The pre match was (partially) in;
Hallcross
32 Hall Gate, Doncaster DN1 3NL
serving "their own" Stocks Brewery beers. I'm not quite sure where that's occurring. I don't think they're brewed on site. I went;
Stocks Brewery, St Leger Gold on Cask at 4.2%.
That was enjoyable enough, but a touch bland.
There was nothing bland about that game at Oxford Street. The best way I can think of describing it is - Hallam seemed to have got out of the wrong side of the bed. Argumentative, niggling, verging on whining at times. I'm not sure I understand why.
Rosso equalised on 90+2. And, it's fair to say that meant a good bit of in yer face, up yours celebrations from both the players and the fans. Letting Hallam know that they hadn't particularly enjoyed their earlier antics and could now Royally Fuck Off. Superb, that's what it's supposed to be like.
It was a fiery game all around. The fog came & went. Probably never really threatened the game. But, it did look a bit grim at times.
Hallam went ahead just as the second half started. To be fair, it was pretty even all the way through. A draw seemed a fair result to me. That'll give the Hallam XI a few days to try & find their Christmas Spirit.
