Hunt The Tins

Hallam 6 v Nostell Miners Welfare 1
Northern Counties East Football League
Division One
Saturday 11 December 2021

I could get used to this. Still a little bit of a have they, haven't they, dance around with the Crosspool Ale Makers Society beer cans. And of course they're much cheaper at the outside Can Bar than in the clubhouse.

Anyway. One way or another. We filled all the gaps in. This time, I went deep on;

Crosspool Ale Makers Society, On The Loose, New World IPA from a Tin at 5.1%

But I also tried;

Crosspool Ale Makers Society, J.C. Shaw, Founders Reserve Bitter on Cask at 3.9%
Named for the Hallam FC founder.
Good straight ahead English Bitter. Suits the occasion and setting.

404 Souls. Hallam going from strength to strength here. Goal Difference of Plus 62, after just 21 games. Scored 83. All that after being a goal down on 16 minutes. Lots and lots of chances. But the Hallam equaliser didn't come until 36. NMW were down to ten after a straight red very very early in the second half. (Hallam were 2-1 up at that stage).

And, wouldn't you just know it. Hallam's sixth, on 89, was scored by the second keeper, Sam Ogden, who had come on as an outfield sub ten minutes from time. Gotta love that.
