Back to the roots today. A can of BrewDog Punk IPA at 5.6%. It still tastes good. But, we've had so many IPAs since then. Came with a nice foaming head when poured from the can. Quite a bit of sweetness, backed up by a slightly tobacco bitterness.

It's Marstons all the way from the Lord's Pouring Partners. Cask Pedigree over on the Nursery Ground. And keg New World Pale, Revisionist Lager & Oyster Stout at many other locations.

Adam Lyth certainly hasn't played the you can't drop me Innings. 7 in the first shift. 12 in the second. I wonder what the new regime will do about the opener slot. We've had Carberry, Compton, Sam Robson, the Ill fated, Ill judged Trott experiment. And now Lyth. Difficult for them to go back. Not easy for them going forward.

I haven't really seen much on TV. But it looked to me as if Gary Ballance played that one with both knees facing the bowler. Looked horrible.
