So, that ends the Young Lions in their U17 EUROs. Rock & hard place. Knock out football has its own excitement. But, 40 minutes each way, no extra time, you're going to end up with a tournament which feels like it's just Penalty Shootouts. In general, I'd quite like to see tournaments which go to a league format for longer. But, the hard place is dead rubbers & teams being conservative & draw conscious.
I thought the Netherlands came into that game more & more. Probably deserved it. Our pre match was in The Chesterfield Alehouse again.
Brew York, Shinobi on cask at 5.3%.
Fruity & citrus. In great condition. A bit of apple in the sugar. Gentle bitterness, but lots of flavour.
Bristol Beer Factory, Low Rider on cask at 3.9%.
Slightly harsh bitterness. Everything happens too fast. Bang, it's over. As you get down it, the hops linger a bit.
