Down to Earth

Sheffield United 1 v Walsall 1

And so, back down to earth after the win against Southampton. The way it goes. A few boos at the end. They still look powder puff up front. It doesn’t seem to really matter who they put there, they can’t make it work. They’re able to keep bungling a few results together & holding on to a Play-Off spot. But, there’s now a top 4 breakaway group pulling away from us - with not many points separating us from (say) 10th place.

Pretty ordinary drink as well today. Unbelievably, “starring” Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.  I was out with non-football friends & we were in a Greene King “chain” pub.  I was pleasantly surprised to see Sierra Nevada in bottles in the fridge. Is that a thing now in GK pubs?

Anyway, what has happened there? Nothing too it. I still wonder whether it’s our taste buds or the beer that has changed.  But, Sierra Nevada was a light going on beer for me. American, Brown, Intense Bitterness - isn’t it all Bud Light? I’ll always save a place in my heart for it. But, this bottle was O Capital O Ordinary.

Close that day down & move forward.
