Right. That is surely (and currently) the best beer bar in London. Craft Beer Co. Covent Garden. Strike me. Are those taps breeding. 25 keg. 2 cider. 15 cask. That's on a bar 9 paces long. Everything & more besides. Siren, Anarchy, Atom. They were all over it.

Siren, Baby Wheel, New England IPA on keg at 7.1%. Oh, that's brilliant. Deep, rich, & bitter. Bursts in the mouth.

To check the competition. We’re Equity Punks. We went to Dog Eat Dog on Essex Road. It’s all getting a little bit Richard Branson ain’t it. A new way of doing business. Welcome the new Capitalists, same as the old Capitalists. The concept here is Hotdogs & BrewDogs - Dog Eat Dog. High fives all round. I’m old enough to remember BrewDog on CASK.

Anyway, one of my major strengths is putting all the garnish to the side. I’m here for the beer. They still make & sell that you know. As well as selling themselves…..

9 BrewDog on keg. 3 guests. We went BrewDog, Born To Die 27.11.2015 from a bottle at 8.5%. Bit of sweetness, gives way to glorious bitterness. It was great. But, at that strength, I prefer Imperial IPA style.

The deaths in Paris made that a non-event as a football occasion. Way it goes. I always sing La Marseillaise anyway. Or the bits I know. That, Advance Australia Fair & The Star-Spangled Banner. Republican, atheist me will respect God Save The Queen, but not sing the dirge.

So, we didn’t really learn anything. Players got game time. The non-football crowd thought it a good idea to screw up the cards used for the Raise The Flag fandango & chuck them at stewards, photographers & each other.
