That day feels a bit like the series in micro. The story is surely that England's spinners have gone for more runs & created less pressure than Pakistan's. And that England are relying on a few batsmen in form, while others struggle. It was turned on it's head. I was noticing the overs where Rashid DID create a bit of pressure. Because there were so few of them.

There was the perfect storm early on. Hafeez came down the track. Adil had sent up a big turning wrong ‘un. Just missed the leg stump. But, Bairstow was still shaping to take it outside off. Should have been stumped & not in the frame. Series turn on stuff like that.

And, on Day 5, it's left to Cook & Root to organise the Chase. Spinner Moeen is gone, feet up. But, Spinner Patel & Spinner Rashid still have to strap their pads on & make a difference in the wrong discipline.
