How the hell do you get yourself in that sort of pickle? Once 4 wickets go, you're in trouble.

Root has done the petulant swish of the bat, the kick of the turf, the eyes to the skies. He's been given a life when caught off a No Ball. But still gets bowled all ends up. He's got the performances behind him. We should believe the hype. He must not. Knuckle down. Make runs when it counts.

Stokes shot was B for Brainless. Caught on the boundary to make it 115-5. To be fair, I was too angry to be worried. I just wanted it to be over (and a Draw). Rain & Bad Light helped.

Regroup. One up. Two to play. Onwards to The High Veldt.

Today's drink was a novelty act. Cederberg Brewery, Voertsek, India Pale Ale at 6% & Cederberg Brewery, Boggom, Blonde Ale at 4.5%. You're encourage/supposed to buy them as a Pair. A Double Act. To the extent that the bottles are joined together by a rubber ring around the tops.

Apparently named after a pair of characters in a poem. Who may or may not be Baboons.

Perfectly OK beers. Although the bitterness in the IPA missed it for me.
