At the moment, I can't quite figure out the selection policy for the U21s. Across the club we've got a lot of players. We've just had a musical chairs transfer window. It's difficult to get injury reports at this level. There are games at all levels coming thick n fast. Some players are on loan at non-league clubs.

Adkins has thrown Adams & Calvert-Lewin in the first team at the weekend. But, in all that mash up. Where are Kennedy & McGahey & Cuvelier & Harris & Wallace today? McFadzean got a start today. Diego was on the bench. He came on with 20 left. And, he had a hand in the goal. Robbed a Barnsley defender out on our left. Cut in. Stayed strong.

Let's have it right. Under normal circumstances he'd shoot. But, David Brooks was in a position right in front unmarked. Diego did the thing. Rolled it to him. He rolled it in.

Lovely over the top combative performance from Otis Khan. Now playing for the opposition of course.

The game could have gone either way. I think Barnsley shaded it. But, Ramsdale had a bit to do. He dealt with crosses well. Stopped some shots. Defenders got blocks in. We rode it. And took our chances.

Unbeaten in 12 in the league now. Cemented in second. Top two in the North Division play off with the top two in the Sourh.

Other results later in the day didn't quite go our way. We're 3 points behind Huddersfield. But, we've played two games more. We're 8 points ahead of Hull. But, we have played a game more.

I celebrated with a great pint of Allgates, Patchcroft, American Pale Ale on cask at 4.2%.
