Today’s Adkins Home Grown/Scouted from Non-League quotient a poor - 3/11 = 27%.
Take what you can. It's interesting to listen to how others see us. I went today with a non-United mate who hasn't seen us in years. His view was we were clearly the better team, throughout, from the off.
So, I've been told for ages these players aren't good enough. That we need to let the expensive older players contracts die on the vine. That we need a from scratch rebuild in the Summer. Yet, here we are bossing games.
We've seen some right dross this season. Live in the moment. A good confident performance all round. They visibly grew in confidence. Maybe they even have some momentum.
Two in the Sheffield Tap, Great Yorkshire, Yorkshire Classic on cask at 4%. Fourpure, Northern Latitude on keg at 6.4%. And then, the best beer of the day in Random Chezvegas Boozer, while trying to avoid The Escort. Blackjack, Porter at 4%.
