Finn. Came in at 233-8. Was last out at 298. There for 15 overs, give or take. Two tumbling catches.

Hales. An opener. Played out a difficult morning on Thursday. Alright, that was a truncated day. But, he's galloped out this morning. Seen it through to 72 overs. I'm pissed off he couldn't see off the New Ball. He's pissed off he didn't get a Ton. But, he's done the job and MORE.

And, the headline grabbers. Bairstow is simply playing a different game. 140 off 183 balls. Five catches behind the timber off the seamers. Five for Jimmy. Four for Broad.

Nice & opaque in the glass. Clean, refreshing smell. Maybe a bit of pine. I'm getting a lot of blood orange citrus. But, in the finish rather than upfront. The bitterness fairly grabs you. It's strong. But not overpowering. I get a pleasant, but unusual, Turkish Delight taste. In the background. Sparkling in the mouth. Not too rich. That abv is perfect. As there is little residual sweetness. Great beer.
