Looked OK on the face of it. Greene King, Mighty Moose IPA on cask at 5.6%. What goes through their heads/brewing kits. It's pompous, but I steer clear of the Industrial Big Boys if I can. It was a perfectly OK beer. A few off tones in the smell maybe. But, refreshing & sort of tasty. But, just bland. Everything underplayed. Nothing as billed. I might as well have had normal IPA.
They had the keg version on as well. One of my comrades got served that by mistake. I had a go at it during the inquest. I thought it was marginally more like an IPA than its cask cousin.

Nice game up there. I think that leaves SUFC U18 with the best record at their level. Won the lot, except for that game at Crewe.
These fellas take pride in their performance. Towards the end, Perryman & the defence reminding each other they need a clean sheet. Organised & up for it. A bit too sweary. But otherwise a credit.

Clean sheet part of the deal here as well. We're doing to teams what they've been doing to us. Keeping the wingers & channelers going across the field. Lateral. Restricting shots to outside the box. Relying on the Keeper to deal with 'em. We're not doing it all that well mind. Peterborough had chances. Enough to win. But, at least there are signs we're trying/doing it.
Great run for everything up front performance by Matt Done. Could/should have had more. But, I'll happily take what he did get for now. If he runs into the box. If someone sweeps it in. He'll get on the end of some. He'll create problems & others will cash in.
At times, it was close to three at the back. With Freeman pushing way forward. Ditto, see above re sweeping them into the box.
2 wins. One beer. Good day.
