Let's have it right. I don't know much about Rugby. I've done the Ball Supping trips. Rome, Paris, Dublin. And a World Cup in New Zealand. But, I know very little about the players. Who is who & what is what.
I understand the game as a pattern. I'm reasonably good at the basic rules. But, not some of the more technical stuff.
But, I'm a day tripper. Tourist fan. I very rarely get a shot at a ticket for Twickenham. I was seduced into this England football, England Rugby Union, England Rugby League weekend.
So, no proper analysis. England looked utterly dominant at times. That scoreline lets The Saffers off a bit.
We got into the Twickenham Fine Ales impromptu brewery bar bang on opening. Good job. Because it filled up quick.
I had Twickenham Fine Ales, Redhead on cask at 4.1%.
Later, I had Hopstuff, A.P.A. on cask at 3.8% in the 'spoons at Highbury & Islington.
It transpires that Twickenham are also brewing under a new & additional pumpclip of convenience. Called Old Hands.
Good job too. As that was the Standout Beer Of The Day was Old Hands, Session IPA on keg at 4.7%. Fresh. Effervescent. Citrus hit into intense bitter. Superb.
