7 Korean Beer Ticks

Right. And relax. Me n Mrs Ball Sup had basically got off the plane, attacked the Korean Craft, gone to bed, got up, hour & half on the train to Jeonju, half hour out to the ground, fucking FIFA ticket pick up, and watched Dominic kick it live. Taxi back to Jeonju, hour & half back to Seoul on the train. Celebratory WeissBock. Bed.

Format. Shit. Six groups of four. Twenty four teams. Three laps round the country. To get to a fucking Round Of 16. A thousand matches to lose just eight teams. Why do FIFA/UEFA come up with this Bollocks?

Six venues. Jeonju last night. Suwon today. In the Groups, games are played as Double Headers. We didn't stay for Korea against Guinea yesterday after the Calvert-Lewin show.

The Australian Branch of the Carrier Bag Firm love Double Headers. And, they love Ground Hopping. So, we're tagging along. Big crowd in Jeonju last night. England, Argentina, The Hosts. Sold Out. No tickets to be had. Bit more FIFA antidote today in Suwon. Mainly just the bottom tier open. A large firm of friendly & polite Ultras Nippon. A few Bafana Bafana with those daft hard hats with bits cut out.

And. Another in ground Korean Beer Tick. Something called Cloud from a tin, at my seat, and at 5% abv.

Man alive. The ticket Pfaff. I booked all my tickets for 5 venues on the FIFA Ticket website. Australian CBF did their own (mainly). You'll get the picture. Me five or so reference numbers. Them five or so reference numbers. As foreigners, all were designated venue pick up. Quite a good set up. Normal venue ticket windows being used. Plus impromptu little gazebos. Each with a laptop, a ticket printer & a human.

Thing is. Despite handing over various numbers for various venues. Their default position was “only today's ticket is possible”. Bollocks to that (I didn't say). “It's just one Computer, it's not Magic.” (I did say). I know if they punch a reference number in, the Computer won't give a fuck whether it's Jeonju or Suwon or Incheon. It'll just spew the Ticket out. They know that as well. But, they try to hold the line. “Only today's Ticket is possible”.

Because I've come to spend time & moolah on Korean Craft Beer. Not in a fucking queue at a different stadium every day. I didn't say. Easier now. I said.
