490 Australian Beer Ticks

I'm pretty relaxed about that whole situation. I believe England have some very good players. Cricket is played on a variety of surfaces. On this one, our bowlers were able to get rid of the Aussies in the first innings. And Cook, in particular was able to make runs. If you're in a hole. If you're looking to get back to winning ways. You might as well start with a Draw. I won't paper over the cracks. More batsmen need to make runs. The bowling unit were nowhere near as probing & penetrative as they need to be. But, we dried up the runs. We made the opposition work. And we had a lot in a Draw. From where we've been. And where we're at. I'll take that.

We “celebrated” in Moon Dog. Hip City. Warehouse. Higgledy-Piggledy. Ten of their own on keg.

Moon Dog Brewing, Tess #3 India Pale Ale at 6.5%.
Great beer. Hop bitterness from the off. Against a sweet pineapple spine. Lots to enjoy about that.
Moon Dog Brewing, Azacca Dacca, S M A S H Pale Ale at 5.2%.
Good straight ahead pale.
Moon Dog Brewing, Black Forest Stout at 6.5%.
Very sweet. But, it suits the style. Red Cherries. Some gentle chocolate. Loved it.
Moon Dog Brewing, C=MD2 Maple Bacon Bourbon Cherry Red Ale at 8.4%.
That is probably the sweetest beer I've ever tasted. I quite liked it.

And, tidied up in Victoria by emptying the tins out of the fridge.
Hop Nation Brewing, The Heart, Pale Ale at 4.6%.
Dainton Brewing, American Pale Ale at 5.2%.

In terms of just a great, pleasant environment to have a drink & watch the Cricket, the MCG Members Reserve is right up there. Not much beer variety mind. But, we completed our tour of the various bars with (I counted) four Fat Yaks.
