A great start by Whitley Hall. Their second wicket only went in the 17th over. With 94 on. But, they had some blipping after that. James Moorhouse went for 53 (off 63) at 120 for 3. That begat 125 for 5 in the 23rd. But. Then. A lovely 79 run stand between Alex Fletcher & James Brown set a platform. Marvellous from Fletcher. Three sixes in 59 runs off 37 balls. Unfortunately. That platform not used. As three wickets fell on 204. Including Robert Basu on a hat trick. (He finished with 4 for 63 off 7). And it was all finished off with 37 for the 9th wicket. Including a 13 run over & another with 16.

That looked a big 'un. And went further South for Hallam in the 9th. Ben Webster took three in four in that one. To leave the S10ers 41 for 3. (He finished with 5 for 30 off 8).

Great bit of sledging in the 28th. One of his mates shouted to bowler Harman Puni and batsman Joe Cooper.

"He's walking across them every ball. I'm ready to go up"

The very next ball....

Joe Cooper, lbw, bowled Harman Puni for 5 off 19 balls to make it 117 for 7.

No way back from that.

Superb Cricket Can just over the boundary. Turning Point Brew Co, Divinations, Galaxy Azacca BRU-1 New England IPA at 6.8%. That even smelled superb. Juicy & rich. And all of that surviving into the taste. And more. The hops kicked in early. Rich & powerful bitterness. But, a lot of juice living the dream as well.
