Look. Owners & CEOs are to be ENDURED, not supported, and certainly not championed. The ground is shifting. If you're owned, then you can only be sold. To someone else. Or down the river. Same difference. The best plan is to not take on any more debt. The best plan is to not take on ever dodgier money. From someone who will inevitably & eventually sell you. To someone else. Or down the river. Repeat to fade.

Whether this lot can keep their cocks in their pants & make that work. Fuck knows. Doubt it. But. Here we fucking go.

Say the inconvenient truth. We're Sheffield United. We're an identity club. Some of our people have always been Blades. Yer Wilders. Yer Sharps. Some of our people have become Blades. Yer Bassetts. Yer Deanes. We're Blades. We shouldn't be Bland.

We called a Snow Day for the Pub. 120s struggling before they reached the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Two buses combined into one to try & get us to The Ranmoor Inn. The pub is choosing us, not the other way around.

Kelham Island, Easy Rider, on Cask at 4.3%

Lovely & fresh. Great balance leading in to the bitter.

Timothy Taylor's, Golden Best on Cask at 3.5%

Sort of a light Mild, golden Mild (as opposed to a dark Mild)

I loved the abv. Not a lot happening in the hop bitter stakes. But a bit of nice sugar action.

Lagunitas Brewing Co, DayTime IPA on Keg at 4%

I'm getting intrigued by the availability of keg Lagunitas. Back in the day of course, hunting bottles of American IPA, these were a find. Brewed now for the mass market. This one smelled lovely. But tasted a bit bland. And the one thing we must NOT be is Bland. No Identity there mate.
