SUFC 2021/22 Game #54
Super performance to boost us up to sixth. This was supposed to be a Carrier Bag Firm Double Header Day. But, the U18s away at Hull City was canned because of the storms.
We're still sort of down to who is still standing. With injuries to key players. And yet more limping off with knocks today. That's the game for us now. Make the most of what we've got. And we're doing it. Billy the only recognised striker. Gibbs-White pushed up & stepping up with two goals. Yet more confirmation that an early goal will always help. Pressure off. Confidence up. Opponents needing to come out.
The interchangeability of the squad, or lack of, will define the rest of our season.

I haven't been in for years. Indeed, I was explaining to the others that I was Self Barred for years. There were some hiccups as there was NO sign of life as at Noon. But, I suppose it's a simple operation. Roll down the stairs, switch the lights on, unlock the door. All of which seemed to happen in the crucial 60 seconds.

Nice creamy head. A bit thin in the mouth. Some caramel. And leaves your tongue tingling. But otherwise gentle. Yep, that's a good Mild
Thornbridge, Tomte, Winter Ale on Cask at 5.6%
The bumph claims orange peel, clove & vanilla. Best thing about it was the lovely smell. Exactly like a Mince Pie. But I was pissed off because very little of that survives into the taste. Still a nice beer. Lots of malt. Some bitter in the finish.
