I'm happy to still count myself as a non-league newbie. But, it never ceases to amaze me that (sorry) some fucking one horse town can have more than one non-league club.
Take Biggleswade. A town in Bedfordshire. Twenty households mentioned in the Domesday Book. Being generous, 25k brave souls now. Town centre estimated to be 28m above sea level. All good. THREE fucking non-league teams.

I need INFO. I sought out the Biggleswade Secretary. These BiggWaders only formed in 2016. Confused. You're not the only ones. Here's the FC Romania programme notes giving the history of what can only be described as the wrong fucking Biggleswade. Biggleswade Town, formed ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE years earlier in 1874.
FC Romania ground share at Cheshunt. That ground is my 394th.
The in-ground beer at the Cheshunt Stadium was Kronenbourg. We had it.
