Played at Wembley
England qualified as of right for the Qatar World Cup. Thankfully not involved in the last chance saloon play offs. So, we're using our time "wisely" with two friendlies at Wembley. This one at a family friendly half five on a Saturday. Note also at an ale cart & powder hoover friendly half five on a Saturday. Choose. Your. Fighter.
Different competitions. UEFA, FIFA, the Premier League, the EFL, the FA themselves. Each of them have their own pouring partners. So, you never know what in ground Beer Klaxons you might be able to push. Although, you do know you won't be able to drink it on the terraces. You'll have to take your chances on the concourse. Oh. And you'll have to pay the price. Literally.
So. This is how we live.
Camden Pale, on Keg at 4% at £6.85
Goose Island, Midway IPA at 4.1% at £6.85
Courage, Best Bitter, on Gravity (& I suspect Bright) at 3.7% at £6.75
Brakspear, Gravity Ale, on, well on Gravity (& I suspect Bright) at 3.4% at £6.75
I mean put the prices to one side (you can't), but if you put the prices to one side (you can't), that's not actually a bad selection is it?
You'd need to taste 'em (but, I bet they won't let you, Phil) - but you could make a go of it couldn't you?
