I think you could put that one down as a rain affected draw. Unfortunately, I couldn't make Day 4, which had shaped up into a bit of turning point cricket. Yorkshire batted on until twenty to three before getting at Hampshire. And had 'em at 38 for three an hour later when they took Tea. A few clusters of wickets might have made for a v exciting finish. But, it wasn't to be.

I can't remember being at a more on, off, repeat rain delay day than Day 1.

We seem to be specialising in low first digs, concede a good bit of a lead, but bat long in our second & put the other lot under pressure. Just 44 & 15 for the opening stand. Kohler-Cadmore, batting at four, in at 50-2 & 20-2. Ballance's ton was the standout in our second. He put on 141 with TKC & 78 with Leaning. All in rain vain.

The beer I'll mention was the superb Collab betwixt Thornbridge & Kirkstall, Ventura Highway, West Coast style IPA, on keg at 6.8% in the Arcadia.

Excellent. Lots of apricot, peach, the lot. That stays all the way. The bitterness helps it all out. Spot on.
