He's upped it to 5/11 for 10 mins as Dom comes on before Whiteman goes off.

The pub found me today as I needed somewhere to watch England cricket on the tele. Fell on my feet a bit. The very pleasant The Alex. One of those modern a bit of everything chain pubcos. Coffee, Industrial Beers, Cask, Craft Keg, food, pool tables, Teles, WiFi. I even borrowed a phone charger to plug in at the table.

From the look & feel, the same pubco as The Cavendish on West St in Sheffield.

Anyway. Pushed the buttons. Perfectly decent place for a pleasant arvo. I went;

Woodforde's, Wherry on cask at 3.8%
Hogs Back, T.E.A. on cask at 4.2%
Hogs Back, Hogstar on keg at 4.5%

All very good. I particularly enjoyed the Hogstar on keg.

The only thing that matters there is the final result. In a season we've struggled. Where games are running out. We've plunged to 13th. Encouraging signs can Fuck Off.

Flynn has hit the goalies foot. Adams one-on-one has fluffed it. Sharp one-on-one has lobbed it over. Adams has hit the post.
