Get some shots off for your chosen Deity’s sake. Endemic now. All levels. All games.
United had lots of First Team Fringer tricky little fellas in midfield. Reed, Scougall, Brooks. No big lump up front. So. Everyone trying to walk it in. Get shots off.
Even if they don't go in, they create. Deflections. Rebounds. They make the other team work.
Theoretically a strong SUFC side. Many of these lads have been involved in nominal first team friendlies already. Only Jake Wright The Younger, Jordan Hallam & Graham Kelly were new to me this season.
All busy busy. Lots at pace. Lots one touch. Lots intricate. Lots going nowhere. No one has made a distinct Pick Me Boss performance. A bit disappointing really.
As I'm sure I must have reported before, The Plough is long gone. A “campaign” has started. By Local Worthies. I'm a Beer Head. I'm a Pub Goer. No point having a campaign once it's tits up. The only campaign that'll do it is the get in every other night, buy & sup ale campaign.
Clubhouse Leader In The Clubhouse
I'm afraid Hallam couldn't knock Glossop off the top of the Leader Board. Usual issue. No cask. Industrial kegs supplemented by bottles of Bradfield, Farmers Blonde at 4%. That's what I had. Lovely drop.
