Of course. I'd prefer the Death Knell really. The “forecast” rain arrived in squalls. And, I was caught a little unawares when they called it off. There's a right old storm raging now in Perth. Maybe some weather may get in the way. It wasn't good. Cook and Root both gone for 14 each. Vince made 55 before getting a snorter from Starc. Malan & Bairstow taking it from 100 for 4.
Second best. Definitely. Playing to their full potential. Doubt it. Wheels off. It's close mate. What to do? Easy. Get to the end of this game. It'll either be over for the Winter. And, they'll have to decide what to do. Or. The Ashes will technically be still alive. And, they'll have to decide what to do.
We're marking time here.
Otherside Brewing Co, Festive, Session Ale from a tin at 4.2%. A very nice beer. Smelled lovely out of the tin. Each to their own. They've decided that's their Session Ale. Even though it's 4.2% Full Strength in Aussie parlance. And to me, it's got Bohemian Pilsener qualities. Call it “nice beer”. For it was.
Otherside Brewing Co, Pilot Series Harvest Red Ale from a tin at 5.4%. Rare breed. Lots of flavour coming from the malt. Almost Stout like in it's depth & complexity. Just a hint of smoke. And the Hoppy bitterness balances it out superbly. Great finish to a piss poor day.
